Balsamic Dijon Grilled Salmon

Excellent flavors with this salmon dish.

Recipe Ingredients

6 wild Alaskan salmon fillets or fish you prefer (about 4-6 ounces /fillet) 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Juice of 2 lemons
1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup tightly packed, fresh basil, finely chopped
3 minced garlic cloves
1 green onion, washed, trimmed and chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Steps

1.    Combine all the ingredients except salmon in a bowl.
2.    Pour over the salmon fillets. Refrigerate covered for three hours.
3.    Preheat the grill
4.    Let fish stand at room temperature 30 minutes before grilling.
5.    Brush the grill lightly with oil.
6.    Grill the salmon steaks over hot or high heat, basting with the             remaining marinade, 5 minutes per side.
7.    You can also broil the fish in the oven.
8.    Serve immediately with fresh basil to garnish.
