These are great appetizers for a gathering or when you are entertaining.
Recipe Ingredients
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup monterey jack cheese, grated
1 cup finely chopped scallions
1 cup mayonaisse
1 can (7 oz) pitted ripe olives, finely chopped
1 cup fresh mushrooms, finely chopped
2 loaves cocktail party rye
Recipe Steps
1) pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
2) mix cheese, onions, mayo, olives and mushrooms
3) spread mixture on rye bread, generously, not thinly
4) place on cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes
5) remove and serve warm
