Potato and Green Bean Salad

This quick to make and takes about 30 mins to prepare. 

Recipe Ingredients

1 bag  (1.5lb) refrigerated ready-to-cook golden potatoes
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into on inch pieces
2 tbsp virgin olive oil
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp minced garlic
1/8 tsp fresh ground pepper
2 tbsp kalamata olives, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh packed basil leaves, thinly sliced
salt 

Recipe Steps

1) cook potatoes as directed and drain in colander under cool water for 30 second and set aside
2) Fill large saucepan 2/3rds full and and bring to a boil
3) add beans and 1 and 1/2 tsp salt and cook 5 mins, until tender
4) drain beans in colander, under cool water
5) in large bowl, whisk oil, vinegar, garlic, 1/2 tsp salt, and pepper
6) add warm, drained potatoes, green beans, olives, and basil to oil and vinegar mixture
7) toss gently and and serve
