I had this dish growing up and now it has become one of my family's favorites.

Recipe Ingredients

1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 1/4 cups milk
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce (optional)
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (6 oz.) albacore tuna in spring water, drained and flaked
1 cup frozen peas
8 oz. sea shell pasta, cooked and drained
1/4  cup of bread crumbs
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
3 thin slices butter

Recipe Steps

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1) Heat olive oil in large deep skillet and saute onion for about 3-4 minutes
2)  Stir in soup, milk, worcestershire sauce, and pepper in separate bowl and add to the onion
3)  Bring to a boil, stirring constantly
3)  Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted and
4)  Add tuna and peas
5)  Add cooked, drained sea shells to the cheese mixture and stir until pasta is completely coated
6)  Grease 2 qt. casserole dish with cooking spray
7)  Turn pasta mixture into greased casserole dish
8)  Top with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese
9)  Bake for 30 minutes

Additional Tips

When selecting the cream of mushroom soup, I often use the lower sodium ones and it tastes great.
